The Fighter

Hey there been a long time since I wrote about a movie and I can’t believe I forgot to write this particular one because it been nominated for an Oscar this year Starting Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale with Amy Adams based on true story events The Fighter.

The Fighter, is a drama about boxer "Irish" Mickey Ward's unlikely road to the world light welterweight title. His Rocky-like rise was shepherded by half-brother Dickey, a boxer-turned-trainer who rebounded in life after nearly being KO'd by drugs and crime…. I believe I’ve heard this story before and I got interested but as always it became a movie so I lost interest overall the story look great and very realistic and as long as I know they didn’t ruin the original true story.

After the story is done and since it’s a drama we will head for the characters and how we were moved by their roles

4th: Charlene Fleming played by Amy Adams Oh dear god I have never saw a girl so powerful and protective she doesn’t take a no for an answer even from her boyfriend Mickey I love the performance that Amy Adams to act like this specially character because I will never forget Charlene Fleming as long as I lived.

3rd: Alice Ward played by Melissa Leo and I thought [The girlfriend] is nuts well kids meet the mom she raised I think 7 kids and I can say natural born trainer very tough mom with zero tolerance policy against her children and she’s everybody’s nightmare even her husband couldn’t control her but deep down she is doing it for the sake of her children I love the character and Melissa Leo has got an Academy Award best supporting female character and she deserve it bravo Melissa Leo.

2nd: Mickey Ward played by Mark Wahlberg hmm yeah he didn’t get much doesn’t he well after all he is the main character and nobody understand why didn’t he got a nomination this year well no it doesn’t matter because I like Mickey and I admire his determination to get his daughter back and his wildest dream to come true and I believe that all fathers want to be in their children lives so I hurray him for his wild optimistic spirit.

1st: Dickey Eklund played by Christian Bale I did see that coming I mean if any of the other guys will get an Oscar it will be him once again Christian Bale has proved for us that he is good we all saw how Dickey Eklund was a mess in real life and I believe that Christian enjoyed playing the role of Dickey and he got what he deserve in the end.

The Movie overall is great and a very move touching story about a father with a bad family history who’s just want his little daughter back no matter what and his older brother who found the drugs as his resort to grief for what he lost and making sure that his little brother won’t end up like him and a mother who took extraordinary measures to keep her family together as she pleased and finally the fighter girlfriend who encourage him to stand up for himself and peruse his dream and reunite with his little girl again I love the movie and I can’t blame the academy for nominate it because it’s worth to watch IMDB.com gave it 8.1/10 but I give it 8.5/10.

Hello 2011

O.K. here is our first official post for 2011 with new features as you can see and summarizing what is happening for the world yes I do realize that my blog will not talk politics and we are not breaking this rule not now and ever but there is something in my heart want to express it and want to express it with you guys……… so let us begin.

I can say that the beginning of 2011 was let say it in four words “They Had it Coming” and who am I referring to without any delay “Corruption” yes we hear this word a lot and it became more and more hearable until it finally reveal it face maybe this is the reason why we see these revolutions everywhere and our fearless governments are starting to look for solutions to deal with it.

I have a great faith for our King, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in his leadership skills even when he came back safely from a serious operations on his back that he will not stand still for this Corruption especially what happened in Jeddah I mean if you think that lightning do not strike the same place twice well think again Jeddah has suffered another tsunami this year and people start to ask questions and the main question that everyone had in mind is (What the Hell Happened?) they expected minimum damage at least now they had to re-live the same tragedy again, from the small till the big guy they questioned why the project wasn’t half way done yet it. Again his Highness King Abdullah took an action for an immediate investigation for like I said (Lightning do not strike the same place twice) why that was changed. Thank god that this time they serious about it and they should be because two weeks ago the King made a speech to the people through the national television and made some Royal Orders and one of it that I most like and admired he formed a new agency called [Anti-Corruption Commission] I can say it’s a one step ahead for a bright future in The Kingdom and I am sure that he will not leave any issue big or small to all of us you know why because I believe in my King and I will be loyal to him as long as I live. King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Now that I’m done with what happened to one of my favorite spots in the Kingdom it’s the topic that everyone is talking about that made the social network website Twitter more popular and recognizable and it called Revolution for the change.

Don’t worry I’ll try to keep it as minimum as possible because I hate to go into this (-_-). So I believe it started in Tunisia when The Tunisian president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali fled the country since then it came to Egypt then Yemen then Bahrain then Oman then Libya and now Syria. These revolutions it started with good intentions but some of it went wrong and I really don’t want to talk about but whoever did I want to say this as someone who believe in mankind.

I know that you’re intentions are good and I’m with you in that also it will be great for the change in your country but my heart and state of mind want to tell you do not let hate consume you because as I learned from our ancestors history and I’m saying it to the rest of the world ancestors no matter who you are, hate and violence wasn’t the answer what I see from hate every day I feel my heart is bleeding and saying why people are like this why they do this I mean yesterday they were eating breakfast and laughing with each other and now they hate each other the minute that someone made a mistake and instead that they talk about it and find a better solutions for this mistake they ask for blood and I want to ask you (If you asked for blood and you got it will you feel better) let me answer it for you…… No.

You will feel worse than ever and you will circle around yourself that what should you do next and how will affect your way of life and everyone else’s even if you did find a way there is no great pleasure in killing someone and it will follow you for the rest of your life then after you die God will ask you why did you killed him/her. In Quran there is a verse that says {Whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men} [Al-Maeda 5:32]. Shouldn’t be aware that killing someone will change you forever I mean come on if a solider feels like that everyday how is an average Joe like you will feel and the last thing that everybody doesn’t want is another Iraq Tragedy. Hate is like a flu you sneeze and it will spread everywhere and affect the one who doesn’t have any kind of immunity against it and you know as I do you don’t want to have the flu and we all hate it so we take the necessary precautions to prevent it… same thing we should do with hate take the most necessary precautions to prevent it from affect us and spread it to others…. That what should we do to live a happy normal life and make life once again fair to everyone.

Before we reach the end my post I want all of you to take a very good real life example as all of us know in 1945 a nuclear bomb has been dropped on Hiroshima, Japan thousands of people was killed that day and many was injured some of them didn’t survive because of the radiation poisoning since that day Japan didn’t even think to strike back all they care about [How we will benefit from this tragedy] says an old man to a reporter. That’s right people of Japan were considering how they will benefit from the tragedy and rebuilt what they lost in it and as we can see today Japan considered one of the most powerful countries in the world in every major they made a huge victory against the enemy and put aside the hate that they endure because they believe that hate is a disease must be cured. And now Japan had another tragedy this year an earthquake hit the country by the power of 9.0 magnitude witch result a huge tsunami with a huge damage to a nuclear facility in the city of Sendai northeast of Japan. The huge question in our mind is asking [How the Japanese will deal with this time of crisis and rebuilt what they lost in it]. We are hoping that Japan will grew even more stronger than ever and they will be another great example for us all I’m sure of it

Finally I want to thank you all for bearing this post I know it was long but I finally released it out of my heart and I would like from each one of you to at least consider what am I saying here because if I reach one person just one person then it will be enough for me and everybody is welcome to join me and him/her to live a happy life. Like what is happening to the world I give my deep condolences to all the victims that we lost during this period of time and I pray for all of them to find peace in their souls and for their family to give them the courage that they need to move on.

And I believe what The Member of the International Union for Muslim Scholars and on its Board of Trustees Dr. Salman AlOuda by saying he believe that 2012 will be a better year for all of us because what he sees this year that 2011 is in a labor procedure that the world is having and hoping that in 2012 maybe earlier we will witness the born of a new world full of happiness. So we shouldn’t see it as the end of our world for all of us we should be more optimistic for the future and like Prophet Mohammed [Peace upon him] says (Goes as well find) what I see here is an opportunity to give back to world by leading it forward to a bright future full of happiness and save everyone from the dark no matter who he/she was. And remember you all you can give back to the world either from who suffered the revolutions or natural disaster by donating a few from your pocket or supplies that you don’t need to help them for what they need.

Let us All Lead Ourselves and the Next Generation to a Brighter World Full of Light.
